Note
CS Degree Day 97
What I did today?
- Lecture 7: Language and the brain - Broca’s area, Wernicke’s area, aphasia
- Lecture 8: Sleep and circadian rhythms
- Lecture 9: Consciousness - neural correlates, the hard problem
I have heavily studied sleep through research papers & books in my hope to alleviate the sleep problems I have had since childhood.
Why does physical information processing give rise to subjective experience? We can explain neural correlates of consciousness - which brain regions activate during which experiences. We cannot explain why those activations feel like anything at all.
