What I did today?

6.1200J - Probability:

• Sample spaces and events
• Conditional probability
• Bayes’ theorem
• Random variables, expectation
• Variance and standard deviation

Overview

Probability is the one subject I was excited to learn about. I have come across Bayes’ theorem several times but seeing it derived from first principles is a different experience entirely.

Work was heavy today. I had to implement database schema for a new project. I made up for the lost time after midnight. The cost is being paid in sleep.
