Introduction

The value of reward decreases hyperbolically with the time of its receipt. We attribute more value to smaller immediate definite reward than profound delayed possible reward. In the comparison of Less now or more later, less now weighs dispropotionally on value scale
There are two ways to correct such discrepancy. First is to make habits that favour later rewards. Second is to disregard hot qualities of immediate reward, think of its cold quallities or think of hot qualities of long term reward

To delay gratification is the human’s ability to self-regulate. Most of us are not proficient with that ability. Any long-term goal achievement requires us to let go of immediate reward in lieu of more desirable long term reward
